Recently while attending at the University of Chester we received a guest lecture from the creative director at Uniform, a design agency that focuses on change and innovation. They have a broad series of sectors that include Graphics Design, CGI and Marketing
After explaining how they work in the industry and the story through getting a brief and bringing the idea to fruition. It was interesting to finally get an insight into how the strategy works withing the creative industry.
While presenting a list of client examples, they went through projects and explained the short time period it had to be complete. This demonstrated what type of time
frame designers should usually take depending on the project.
After explaining the different strategy to go through to get the best design for the client, it also suggested to look into Design sprints which is a 5 step program to give direction to a project in minimal time.
