The title of UI and UX designers are jobs that have emerged with the progression of future design roles. UI and UX are two very separate roles.
Where UI design revolves around the graphical element and the layout, UX focuses on the functionality and the sorting the prototypes, wire-frames and how it will be interactive. Because of my experience as a Graphics Designer, UI design will not be foreign territory. However UX design is alot more technical and is a combination of roles. Part marketer, part designer, part project manager; the UX role is complex, challenging and multifaceted.
In order to properly experience UX design, I require to start experimenting in how to properly work different software in developing interactive software.
